IHC reduces manual administrative load with SnapHire

IHC, a leading provider of services for people with intellectual disabilities, uses SnapHire to simplify its recruitment processes and reduce administrative workload.

SnapHire was already in use at IHC when National Recruitment Manager, Tracy Robertson joined, but during a larger systems transformation project, she was tasked with reassessing their recruitment technology.

“There was an alternative solution on the table, which would mean that we would have one system across different functions of the business, such as rostering and payroll. They came to us and said that they had an offering in the recruitment space as well”, said Tracy.

But after comparing SnapHire with the alternative platform, IHC decided not to make a change. “We compared the different platforms in terms of ease of use for my team. We deal with high volume recruitment, and the look and functionality of SnapHire was far superior to what we saw in the end from the alternative system.”

Seamless integration and new efficiencies

One of the critical considerations for IHC was SnapHire’s integration with their core HCM (Human Capital Management) system. “This project we were undertaking gave us the opportunity to look at where we could create efficiency. It was clear that we had an opportunity to better utilise the onboarding and document generation functionality with SnapHire,” says Tracy.

“Now, we’re using SnapHire every day. By automating the onboarding and document generation process, these features have removed a significant amount of manual work from our team who were generating the contracts and letters of offer. It has cut down our processing time for onboarding and helped significantly reduce human error.”

Beyond the platform’s functionality, Tracy says IHC has been particularly impressed with SnapHire’s responsiveness and transparency as a partner. “The individuals we’ve worked with—from the relationship manager to the project team—have all been fantastic,” said Tracy. “The other provider gave us a sales pitch, but the reality was not what they’d sold. But with SnapHire, there’s been no fluff. They knew what they were talking about and knew what the system was capable of, and they’ve delivered exactly what they said they would.”
